Elektro3-EDM establishes a new alliance with Philips

We have reached an agreement with Signify for the distribution of lighting items in the hardware store channel for Spain and Portugal. Within the framework of this agreement, as of February a first phase of introduction of some 80 references has begun, including both Philips lamps and luminaires and lighting connected through the WiZ system.

During the month of December, we became part of Signify's (formerly Philips Lighting) LED Luminaries and Retrofit Bulbs Licensing Program. In this way, we will be able to have at our disposal more than 490 technologies covered by 3,650 patents.

This collaboration represents a clear commitment to the future, digitization and a commitment of both companies with the hardware store channel. According to Silvia Fernández, director of Signify's Consumer Channel, "the strategic alliances, such as the one we have reached with Elektro3-EDM, reaffirm our objective of continuous innovation to offer the most cutting-edge and efficient lighting solutions".

Fernández assures that both companies are convinced that "together" they will advance in the digitization of channels such as the hardware store, which will facilitate the access of end users to the lighting products they are looking for in their homes ”.

Xavier Crusells, Purchasing Director at Elektro3-EDM, points out that "Philips-Signify is a distribution that fits perfectly into our company structure." He also points out that, "in recent years", we have been "incorporating leading brands" into its assortment, "but we lacked a first brand in lighting", so, after this agreement, "we really believe that the results can be very satisfactory in a very short period of time.
